Getting Started with IngenioLens

Welcome to IngenioLens! This guide will help you get up and running with our AI-powered physics laboratory.

Installation

Download IngenioLens from the App Store

Launch the app on your iOS device

Complete the initial setup wizard

iOS 26.0 or later

iPhone 12 or newer (for optimal 3D performance)

Apple Vision Pro support available

Navigate to Settings → AI Provider to select your preferred backend:

DeepSeek V4 (Recommended): Best accuracy for complex physics queries

Apple Intelligence: On-device processing for privacy

Ollama: Fully offline, for local development

Visit each of our three interactive laboratories:

Spring Oscillator Lab — Simple harmonic motion, damping, period and frequency

Structural Analysis Lab — Stress, strain, and axial deformation

Taylor Series Lab — Polynomial approximation and convergence

Use the search bar to describe physics concepts in natural language. For example:

> "Show me how the period changes when I increase the mass"

IngenioLens maps your query to the right lab and parameter set automatically.

Start with simple queries and gradually increase complexity

Use the labs to build intuition before diving into equations

Take advantage of the real-time formula updates as you drag sliders
