By using IngenioLens (the website at ingeniolens.com or the iOS application), you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.

What IngenioLens is

IngenioLens is an educational physics simulation tool. It is not a substitute for professional scientific or engineering advice. Simulations are accurate to the best of our ability but should not be used for safety-critical engineering decisions.

Acceptable use

You may use IngenioLens for personal, educational, and commercial learning purposes. You may not:

  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or abuse the API
  • Use the service to generate or spread misinformation
  • Circumvent rate limits or access controls
  • Use the service in any way that violates applicable law

Intellectual property

The IngenioLens name, logo, and original code are owned by IngenioLens and its contributors. The underlying physics formulae are in the public domain. Open-source components are used under their respective licences.

Disclaimer of warranties

IngenioLens is provided “as is” without any warranty of any kind. We do our best, but we make no guarantees about uptime, accuracy, or fitness for a particular purpose.

Limitation of liability

IngenioLens and its contributors are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. Material changes will be noted in the Changelog.
