Privacy Policy

The short version

IngenioLens is designed to minimise data collection. When you use on-device AI (Apple Intelligence or Ollama), nothing leaves your device. When you use cloud AI (DeepSeek V4), only your query is sent to the AI provider — we don't store it on our servers.

What we collect

• Usage analytics (aggregated, anonymous) — which labs are used, how often, and what search queries look like in aggregate. We never link this to an individual.
• Feedback submissions — if you use the feedback form, we receive your message and optionally your email address.
• Error logs — crash reports to help us fix bugs. These do not include personally identifiable information.

What we don't collect

• We don't require an account to use the app or website.
• We don't track individual user sessions or build user profiles.
• We don't sell data to third parties.
• We don't use advertising trackers.

AI providers

When you use a cloud AI model (DeepSeek V4), your query is sent to that provider's API. Each provider has their own privacy policy. On-device AI (Apple Intelligence, Ollama) never leaves your device.

Cookies

The website uses a single session cookie for language preference. No third-party tracking cookies are set. See our Cookie Policy for details.

Your rights

You can request deletion of any personal data we hold by emailing privacy@ingeniolens.com. Since we collect very little, there's usually nothing to delete.
